Cardinals in the Bushes Book To Be Online
My proposed book covering the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system -- which was
originally intended to be a paperback book -- will instead be placed on the website.
The upfront costs involved with self-publishing the manuscript has led me to abandon
the project in book form. But instead of scrapping it altogether, I have chosen to place
it here for Cardinals, Redbirds, Ravens (and Travelers), Cannons, Chiefs, and NJ and JC
Cardinals fans to enjoy.
The online book will consist of eight chapters: an introduction to the Cardinals farm
system; a chapter for each of their six minor league affiliate teams; and a conclusion
that will update readers on the whereabouts and progress of the players and player
development staff. The names of specific players and staff can be found by using the site
search at the top of this page.
The book will cover the players and player development staff during the 1999, 2000, and
2001 seasons. Among those featured will be Rick Ankiel, Chad Hutchinson, Albert Pujols,
Bud Smith, Andy Bevins, Stubby Clapp, Nate Dishington, Alex Eckleman, Jack Wilson, Britt
Reames, Adam Benes, and many more.
